HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The holiday season is here, and the Salvation Army is asking people to consider donating food, toys and gifts to those in need.
Trina Crawford, Director of the Havre Service Extension of The Salvation Army, says generosity from the local community is always appreciated.
“We’d appreciate food that would be able to be put into a holiday basket. That food could be directly taken to the Havre Food Bank. We also suggest that a toy drive would be something that somebody could do.”
For toy and gift donations, the items must be new. Donors can drop the items off at the Salvation Army during regular business hours or arrange a time for them to be picked up by calling 265-6411, extension 102.
