HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation Board of Directors announced Wednesday, May 13 they will be holding a virtual scholarship awards ceremony Monday, May 18 at 1 p.m.
The ceremony will include an award drive-in for winners and their families outside of Havre High School and a virtual ceremony for the general public via Facebook.
HPS Education Foundation Board Chairman Kyle Leeds said, “The current COVID-19 pandemic and new normal that we are living in, has affected every person in some way…the Board of Directors thought it was important to celebrate the achievements of this tremendous class of seniors at Havre High School and recognize them with these scholarships.”
35 scholarships will be given to Havre High School Seniors this year and Foundation Executive Director Cheryl Morse said they are thankful for all the generous support they have received from their donors.
The ceremony will be broadcast live at the Havre Public Schools Education Foundation Facebook page.
