Havre Public Schools Updates Attendance Policy for Athletics

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – During their Board meeting on Tuesday evening, Havre Public Schools passed revisions to their fan attendance policy at High School athletic events.

  • Parents of the cheer team, marching band and flag team may attend games they are performing at. Each student will receive two tickets to the game.
  • For senior recognition days, senior athletes will receive an additional two passes per household to attend the game and walk with them
  • Family members on the ticket list do NOT need an additional ticket for children 5 and under. Children 6 and older will need to be on the ticket list in order to attend
  • The tiers at Blue Pony Stadium will be open for seating. However, no parking in the stadium is allowed. Those wishing to sit in the tiers will need to bring a lawn chair or something else to sit on. Markings will be present in tiers to designate where people can sit. Areas with an X may not be occupied to ensure social distancing. Only two people can sit together in open areas. Blue markings in the bleachers are still present, and the District asks that people sit in an area marked by blue tape.
  • All fans permitted into Blue Pony Stadium are asked to enter through the North entrance. the South entrance will be the entrance for workers and officials only. For volleyball games in the Gymnasium, fans will enter through the West entrance.
  • No visiting fans will be permitted to Havre High Activities at this time.

As information from other communities comes in on fan attendance and expectations at their games, it will be posted on the Havre Public Schools website.
