HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – At their weekly buisness meeting on Wednesday, the Hill County Commission voted unanimously to put out an invitation to bid for a project to upgrade the electrical, communication and control systems in the Detention Center.
Bids must be received by December 22nd at 9:30 AM. That is when the Commission will open the bids and read them aloud.
The invitation to bid says the bids are for the “purchase and installation of fully engineered touch screen workstations to replace the existing “hardwire” control panels and systems in Hill County’s Detention Facility.”
Back in February, Hill County was awarded a $270,000 grant from the Department of Commerce through the Delivering Local Assistance program.
The project will cost an estimated $279,424, with Hill County providing $7,500 of the funding.
