Hays Lodgepole Schools Temporarily Shifts to Virtual Learning Due to COVID-19 Exposure

HAYS LODGEPOLE, Mont. (NMB) – Hays-Lodgepole Schools has temporarily shifted to all virtual learning after being notified that some students were in close contact with a person that tested positive for COVID-19.

The District says they plan on resuming with their regular schedule on Wednesday, April 28th, once deep cleaning and contact tracing are complete.

This comes as the Fort Belknap Reservation reported six new COVID-19 cases on Monday after previously being at zero active cases. Officials with Fort Belknap report that all active cases are in isolation and that all contacts have been notified and have been provided with further instructions.

Fort Belknap continues to have some restrictions in place during Phase 1 of their reopening, including a mask mandate and a 10 PM curfew.
