MEAGHER COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – A 23-year-old Kalispell man was killed in a rollover ATV crash in Meagher County on Thursday evening.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 8:51 PM on Spring Creek Road near Martinsdale, when a southbound Polaris Sportsman left the left hand side of the roadway and rolled over. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, ended up wedged between two trees and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The dirt road was wet at the time of the crash. Alcohol and excessive speed are suspected factors in the crash.
