RAVALLI COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – KRTV reports that a 21-year-old man from Conner has died in an apparent hunting accident over the weekend.
Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton says the incident occurred in the West Fork area on Sunday morning, when the man was found with an apparent gunshot wound. Authorities were notified by people who saw the man near a trailhead.
The man had been hunting alone, and Holton says it appears he was the only person involved. He says it appears to have been a tragic accident.
