HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Early Saturday morning, Havre Police received a call from a woman saying someone was in her home. Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich says that 23-year old Ryan Tempel from Chester has been charged with trespass and felony burglary. A vandalism charge is also possible.
Matosich says that Tempel allegedly broke into the woman’s apartment and trapped the woman in her bedroom by pushing the fridge in front of the door. Damage was also done to the bathroom wall.
Matosich says that the burglary charge stems from being in the residence unlawfully and committing vandalism, buy damaging the walls.
As of Tuesday morning, Tempel was being held in the Hill County Detention Center on a $40,000 bond.
