HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Rocky Boy man on Monday pleaded not guilty to seven counts, including theft and burglary in State District Court in Havre.
Fabian Saddler Jr. is charged in connection to thefts at Havre’s John Deere Dealership and at E-1 Towing last month. He faces three theft charges, two conspiracy to commit burglary charges, and a charge each of possession of burglary tools and criminal trespass to vehicles. Saddler was released on his own recognizance, provided he reside with his grandmother in Rocky Boy.
Court documents say that on January 29th, Hill County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the burglaries at John Deere and E-1 Towing. A deputy drove by a residence known to be a suspect for area thefts and observed items in the back of a vehicle that matched stolen property.
Deputies seized two vehicles and got a search warrant for the residence. In the home, they found numerous stolen items and shoes that matched footprints at the burglaries. Stolen items were located in one vehicle and bolt cutters were found in another.
