(Havre) – In a update to a story reported earlier by New Media Broadcasters, The Havre Police Department says in a press release that on August 30th at approximately 4am, their officers responded to the area of Bonine Drive regarding a report of a female who was bleeding,
Upon arrival, officers located the female suffering from lacerations and began life saving measures, The individual was subsequently transported to by Havre Fire Department EMT’s to Northern Montana Hospital for further medical treatment. The individual succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
During the course of the investigation, Breana Hope Bacon, 21 year of age from Box Elder was arrested and is being held in the Hill County Detention Center. Bacon has been charged with Deliberate Homicide, Attempted Deliberate Homicide,, Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon and Tampering with Evidence. Bacon is currently being held without bail.
The Havre Police Department says this remains an active and ongoing investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
