HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The surge in COVID-19 cases across the treasure state has shown no signs of stopping this week, as the State Health Department reported another 3,072 new cases of the virus across the state in their Wednesday update.
The known active case count is up to a record high of 16,125, while the number of active COVID-related hospitalizations has increased to 326.
2,990 Montanans have suffered COVID-related deaths.
Seven counties reported at least 150 new COVID cases on Wednesday, led by Yellowstone with 451 and Missoula with 417.
