The MSU Northern Lights faced off against Carroll College’s Men”s Fighting Saints Basketball team Friday night in postseason action that saw the end of the Lights’ 2021-2022 season.
In the first half, Carroll and MSU Northern were playing a close game until Carroll College broke ahead with a lead and finished the first half 34-25. In the second half, the Fighting Saints retained their lead throughout with the Lights fighting a good fight to try to break ahead and turn the tides, but sadly lost the game in the end. After the dust had settled, Carroll College won against MSU Northern 71-63, and this game finishes the 2021-2022 MSU Northern Men’s Basketball team’s season.
