
After the first two rounds in the championship bracket at the N. A. I. A. National Championship Wrestling Tounament in Wichita, Kansas the MSU Northern Lights have two wrestlers on the championship side of the bracket. Martin Wilkie at 141 pounds for the Lights won his first round match by major decision and his second by a 4-3 margin. Defending national champion at 197 pounds Isaak Bartell was the recipient of a first round bye and won his second round match by fall.
At 131 pounds Nick Kuntz lost his match of the tournament and has since won his next two. Chase Short at 164 is 1 and 1, Nakota Siegel at 174, along with Karl Hanson at 184. The quarter finals on the championship of the brackets will finish up tonight as will the third and fourth rounds of the consolations. Stay tuned to New Media Broadcasters for details.
