Names of Those Arrested in Raid of Blackfeet Chairman’s Home Released

BROWNING, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Standard reports that the names of nine people who were arrested in Browning last Thursday after the FBI conducted a raid of the home of the Tribal Chairman have been released by law enforcement.

All nine people face misdemeanors in Blackfeet Tribal Court, but federal charges have not been ruled out.

The raid was conducted due to suspicion that fentanyl and other drugs were being used and sold in the home.

Tribal Chairman Timothy “Kink” Davis was not home at the time and does not face any charges.

The nine defendants all pleaded not guilty at their initial appearances. All have been charged with at least one drug crime, and several were also charged with child endangerment.
