HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Governor Greg Gianforte will be visiting Sunnyside Intermediate School in Havre this Thursday morning.
A press release from Superintendent Craig Mueller says the District selected two classrooms for Gianforte to visit. Mueller says the teachers of the classrooms have benefited from House Bill 143, which was sponsored by Conrad Republican Llew Jones of Conrad. It passed last legislative session and incentivizes Districts for increasing base teacher pay.
Gianforte will also hold a meet and greet with teachers, administrators, and Trustees. The visit is expected to conclude with Gianforte and his team meeting with the Administration and School Board.
Gianforte is also visiting several other Hi-Line counties this week as well as part of his latest 56 county tour.
