Local Griffen Terry, Getting Comfortable With the Lights

Havre, MT – Former Havre high quarterback Griffen Terry was a highly sought after recruit throughout the Frontier Conference last season before committing to the Montana State University-Northern Lights in the late spring.

Terry chose to enroll early to get a start on a long football offseason that is shortly coming to a close.

Griffen Spoke with NMB Sports about how that decision has helped his improvement as a player.

“It’s helped me a bunch. It’s the best choice I ever made…I’ve been working with our OC for six months already and I’ve only been on campus for three days technically. I’m very glad I’ve been able to do it, I feel like my game has transcended a lot because of it.”

Terry also commented on what it’s been like to work with Lights new Offensive coordinator coach K.

“I love him; He is a genius safe to say. I’ve learned so much from him already. Just from six months of working with him I can tell that all he cares about is football and he is going to put 110 percent into the game coaching us so that means we got to give him 110 percent. I’m blessed to have him as an OC. He is one hell of a coach.” terry shared

MSU-Northern football was selected to finish seventh in The Frontier Conference East division preseason Coaches pole, the conference announced Tuesday.

Griffen Terry and the Lights open their tough schedule on the road at Carroll College on Thursday, August 27, at 6p.m. and you can listen live on KPQX.
