HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – Governor Greg Gianforte has announced his latest round of appointments to statewide boards and councils, and several residents of north-central Montana are among the names.
Dorothy Gremaux of Lewistown has been appointed to serve on the 911 Advisory Council. Gremeaux is a 911 dispatch supervisor and coordinator with two decades of experience in emergency response. Her term will run through August of 2025.
Tonya Plummer of Hays has been appointed to the Board of Housing. Plummer is the founding Executive Director of the Montana Native Growth Fund, which is a Native Community Development Financial Institution on the Fort Belknap Reservation that is focused on housing and homeownership. Her term will run through January 1st of 2023.
And Heidi Visocan of Plentywood has been appointed to the Board of Private Security. Visocan has been in law enforcement for nearly a decade and served as Sheridan County Sheriff for almost seven years. Her term runs through August 1st of 2024.
