HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The 5th Annual Veterans and First Responders Barbecue will be taking place this Saturday from noon-3 PM at Pepin Park
Havre Elks Lodge Secretary Brandy Kurtz says that this is just one way to give back to those that help keep us safe.
“So we have our own little group of Veteran people that are part of VFW, the VFW Auxiliary the Elks. We’re all a little tight knit group, and we try and do different things to give back to the community to say thank you.”
The event will include free hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, chips, and drinks. There will also be music and games for kids.
The barbecue is for all Veterans, First Responders, Border Patrol, and their families.
