A new lodge is set to replace the old lodge in Beaver Creek Park.
Lou Hagner an active member of the Beaver Creek Park Board explains why the current lodge needs to be replaced.
“Well, the existing lodge out there was set up about 50 years ago, and there were some problems with installation of that lodge. It doesn’t meet code of today. Our superintendent has worked very hard over the years to keep that lodge functioning, but there are issues of deterioration of the logs that are just not permanently repairable.”– Lou Hagner
