(Kremlin) – A vehicle crashed outside of Kremlin in Hill County on July 2nd traveling down United States Highway 2.
According to the report from investigating Highway patrol trooper Matt Erickson the vehicle was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 2 when it drifted off the left side of the road and entered a ditch. The vehicle then proceeded to cross an approach to a residence and hit a large pine tree along the highway.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was found dead at the site. The name of the victim has not been released. Currently the crash is still being investigated for the cause behind it.
