(Washington, D.C.) – The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development joins the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in highlighting National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week, October 22-28.
To help raise awareness agencies will be providing resources and encouraging preventive actions to decrease childhood lead exposure during the week and beyond.
This year’s theme of “Together, we can prevent lead exposure” will emphasizes the importance of coordinating to protect people from the dangers of lead exposure.
