Bullhook Community Health Center Expansion

(Havre) – Bullhook Community Health Center has recently announced that they have begun to prepare for the construction of the expansion to their facilities. Kyndra Hall the CEO of Bullhook Community Health Center talks about the upcoming expansion.

“So, over the last seven years we have slowly acquired most of the houses around us or they’ve approached us to purchase them. So, the first progression of the 4 that are coming down right now, the three on the west side of the street will become an employee parking lot and then the one between the two houses we don’t own will be a parking garage for our mobile unit. And then eventually hopefully in the next year or year and a half the three on the east side of the block will come down to become more patient parking and then in the next two to three years the three houses to the east of Bullhook will come down for an expansion to our building to provide more services and more space that we can have everyone under one roof and serve more patients.”

She goes on by talking about how they raised the money for the expansion.

“It’s been like I said a progression of over 7 years just we’ve been raising money form our income that we have from patient revenue. Unfortunately federal grants can’t be used for that so we’ve just had to wait and accumulate funds from what we’ve had of excessive patient revenues. We also got a loan form Bear Paw Development so for a ground build loan to help with the cost of clean up that we will payback over the years.”
