(Conrad) The former mayor of Conrad and the city’s government are locked in a legal battle after the City Council voted last month to remove her from office.
Jamie Miller was voted out of office by the city council in November 2023 following an investigation into a grievance filed by a city employee. Now, she’s filing suit, claiming that the council broke the state’s open meeting law when it met to take the vote
According to Miller’s lawsuit, the council barely met in public at all before immediately going private, citing the demands of individual privacy.
