Billings Man Sentenced for Child Pornography

(Billings) A Billings man was sentenced to four years and three months in prison, to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, for conviction of a child pornography crime after he and another individual were arrested when they arrived at a park to meet a fictitious teenage boy.

In court documents, the government alleged that on July 14, 2022, in Billings, an undercover law enforcement officer posing as a 13-year-old boy received a message on a social media platform from the individuals co-defendant.

The communications led to setting up a meeting in a park on July 15, 2022. Officers arrested both when they arrived

The man, aged 40, pleaded guilty in May to possession of child pornography.
