(Chinook) – The annual Blaine County Fair Foundation brewfest takes place on Saturday night in Chinook. Board Member Loren Skoyen tells us about the five breweries that will be attending.
“We’ve got Beaver Creek Brewery out of Wibaux, Montana. We’ve got Big Spring Brewery out of Lewistown, Montana. We’ve got Pleasant Prairie out of Scobey, Montana and we’ve got Otium brewery out of Miles City and of course our local one, we’ve got Triple Dog.”-Skoyen
A familiar name who opened for Daryl Worley at last summer’s Blaine County Fair will be entertainment. Skoyen tells us who that will be.
“We’re going to have Cole Kleinert Band. He’s a singer from Sunburst, he’s been to Nashville, he’s cut some records. He’s really good. If you want to come listen to some really good country and dance.”-Skoyen
Loren Skoyen tells how the proceeds for this year’s brewfest will be utilized.
“And all this money that we are raising this weekend is going towards new bleachers for our beer garden. Last year just before the fair we went in there and started looking at them and were going to repair them and they were in such rotten state that we had to tear them down. -Skoyen
The brewfest starts at 4pm on Saturday inside the commercial building at the Blaine County Fairgrounds in Chinook. Tickets are $20 each.
