Glacier to dedicate $2mil to ecosystem management

(West Glacier) Glacier National Park said in a press release that they are set to dedicate just under 2 million dollars in funding to to continue work on advancing bison reintroduction; inventory cultural resources impacted by climate change; and protect and restore whitebark pine. 

The money comes as part of the Inflation Reduction Act said the press release, a majority of which will go towards studies aiming to gain a better understanding of how deer and elk will utilize the forage and habitat in the absence of Bison.

This park says that this is just a piece of the overall 195 million dollars the park received as IRA funding.
