(Bureau of Land Management) The Bureau of Land Management’s North Central Montana District says that Coal Banks Landing Campground is open again for the season.
BLM says the campground has 20 first come, first serve campsites to facilitate all manner of Upper Missouri Breaks river trips and paddling sessions.
The Bureau also warns that the water is extremely cold and fast-flowing at this time of year. Conditions can change rapidly, so make sure that you’re prepared for your trip on the river with all necessary supplies, especially life jackets.
