(Great Falls – KRTV) A multi-agency effort is underway to develop the latest long-range transportation plan for Great Falls, which was last updated in 2018.
Great Falls is seeing more and more people settle down in both the city and surrounding Cascade County, and as a result plans to preserve their public transportation system and include new things such as accessibility improvements and new transportation options, such as more busses, according to the city.
The long-range transportation plan is a product of the Great Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization, which involves local, state and federal governments, as well as special jurisdictions like the Great Falls Transit District.
