MSU Northern wrestling kicked off their new season hosting North Idaho College on Friday night.
Northern Idaho won the meet as a team in the dual 27-10.
Lights picking up mat victories were Travis Waldner at 165 pounds, with a 5-3 decision; Devin Crawford in the 184 division with a major decision 11-1; and Shane Mattson at 285 on a 5-4 decision.
The Lights will see their next action on the road Wednesday, Nov 6 for duals action at University of Providence.
