Local Havre product Adisyn Olson has signed with the Skylights to play college volleyball next season. She is the second recruit signed by MSU-Northern volleyball this offseason.
The soon-to-be former Havre High Blue Pony recorded a serving percentage of 91.2 and once had 44 digs in a match during her career. Her total digs for her senior season was 348.
“One of the main things that stood out to me when recruiting Adisyn was her attitude, work ethic and the positive effect she has on her teammates,” Head coach Jerry Wagner said in a press release. “These are essential attributes a player must have to be a member of a successful team.”
“I love the Havre community and wanted to stay close to home,” Olson said in the same press release. “I have grown up watching the Skylights and have always dreamed of being one. I am beyond excited to be part of such an amazing program.”
Once she walks onto campus at MSU-Northern, the 5-foot-2 Olson will begin training as a libero and defensive specialist, which are the positions she played in high school. She will be an elementary school education major, which is reflective of her work in the Havre High classroom, where she earned Academic All-State in addition to second team All-Conference and the Sportsmanship Award on the volleyball court.
