(Hill County) The Hill County Board of Commissioners met on Thursday for their weekly business meeting.
The meeting began with an acknowledgement of all the times that two or more commissioners discussed county business this week outside of scheduled meeting times.
The commissioners passed a motion that would establish a county PACE program, which is pursuant to new state law that the board says will make it easier to navigate zoning laws in the county.
County officials also gave a proclamation recognizing the Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club for their work to beautify the Hill County Court House grounds. This group is responsible for many of the flowers and plants around the court house area.
The next meeting in scheduled for June 12th, at 10am.
