Blue Pony Volleyball Offseason

Havre, MT – Havre High Blue Pony volleyball saw great success in the 2025 season with a run to the state championship game.

The Blue Ponies are looking to maintain that level of success starting with offseason workouts. Havre volleyball head coach Cassie Kruger highlighted what their summer has looked like.

“We have been doing open gym four days a week and lifting three days a week with some speed work and yoga in between to help with our mobility.” Coach Kruger stated.

As far as team camps go Kruger said that this summer has been eye opening. “We just got back from team camp last week. We took a bunch of returners to the Montana State volleyball team camp, and I believe the girls learned a lot there.”

“It was a very eye-opening experience as far as what we are very strong at and what we need to work on heading into the season.” Kruger told New Media Broadcaster Sports.

The Blue Ponies did loose key players including Ariana Gary who has moved on to play for Miles City College’s volleyball program. Official Blue Pony volleyball practices are less than a month away beginning on August 14.
