BILLINGS, Mont. — A federal jury has convicted Adolfo Vargas-Lepe, formerly of Roberts, of three counts of kidnapping and one count of making an interstate threat.
Lepe also pleaded guilty to trafficking large quantities of meth, fentanyl, and cocaine.
Prosecutors say he abused and terrorized multiple victims, including children, across several states and into Mexico, even shooting one victim.
Lepe faces up to life in prison on several charges.
Sentencing is set for October 2nd.
He remains in custody.
