Havre City Council Fixes Donated Fire Truck Mistake

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Monday night, Havre’s City Council met for a short meeting in City Hall and a local Boy scout in the audience led the pledge of allegiance.

The first agenda item was to rescind a resolution from last meeting, as they made a mistake in the paperwork when they donated a fire truck to the Kremlin Rural Fire District, instead of the Rudyard Fire District. Havre Fire Chief Mel Paulson had been speaking with the Rudyard Fire District about donating a fire truck, but he accidentally listed Kremlin in the paperwork to receive the truck. The Council fixed this and the truck was donated to the Rudyard department.

After the meeting, Paul Tuss with Bear Paw Development presented some highlights from their annual report and thanked the Council for their help and support as they approach their 50th anniversary.
