Havre, MT – The Havre Northstars had a terrific regular season but ultimately dropped the North District A championship game to Vauxhall.
Havre was led by their four seniors in Tanner DaLerosa, Colter Solomon, Ezra Pyle, and Chasson Mader. However, head coach Ryan Divish knows that this year’s season ending heartbreak will help his team going into next season.
“Kids like Tyson Brandon and Teegan Solomon will reference and push other guys to say hey we can’t let this happen next year.” Divish said “These kids understand that you can’t sit back and pout and they have to use it as motivation, for next season you know. They need to be in the weight room and they need to do the extra stuff.”
The Northstars ended their season after the loss with a 36-17-1 record and lost the championship game 7-0 after a weather cancelation in the bottom of the fifth inning.
