(HELENA) – Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen has been selected as co-chair of the Business Services Committee for the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS).
Under Secretary Jacobsen’s leadership, Montana has had record numbers of new business registrations in each of her years in office. Last year, nearly 64,000 businesses registered with the Secretary of State’s Office. Montana is on pace to break that record again in 2025.
NASS Business Services Committee members educate and inform national peers about “state practices regarding corporate registrations, electronic business filings, notarizations, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings, and other related services.”
