(HELENA) — The Montana Lottery has awarded $96,502 in high-tier prizes since October 6, including one winner from our local area. a high tier prize is any prize of $600 or more.
A Havre winner, playing The $14,000 Montana Crossword, claimed their prize of $14,000 on October 6. The winning ticket was purchased at Cenex Zip Trip Number 48.
Established by a citizen’s referendum in 1986, the Montana Lottery has a long history of giving back to the state. They’ve contributed over $2.25 million annually to Montana STEM scholarships,
awarded more than $1.06 billion in prizes, and returned approximately $361.3 million to the State of Montana.
