Helena, MT -The Frontier Conference announced on Tuesday the Academic All-Conference sections for both men’s and women’s cross country.
The Skylights, along with Bellevue, Montana Western, and Rocky Mountain all had two runners honored.
Carroll College and Dakota State each had eight runners selected to lead the conference. Bismark State saw five runners selected, Montana Tech had four runners named, and Valley City State followed with three recipients.
The two Skylights honored are Mikaela Kelly and Deserae Toombs. Kelly is a senior from Box Elder and is studying Integrated Health Science. Toombs is majoring in Elementary Education.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
The 2025 Frontier Conference Women’s Cross Country Championship meet will be held on Friday (Nov. 7) at Amend Park in Billings, Mont., at 11:30 a.m. (Central Time)/10:30 a.m. (Mountain Time). Toombs and Kelly will receive their Academic All-Conference awards after the Conference championship meet.
