Bozeman, MT – After losing to Polson in round one Havre High volleyball reached the state championship game amid 3 straight wins on Thursday and a semifinal victory over Frenchtown Friday morning but dropped the title game to Billings Central.
On Thursday Havre defeated Miles City in four sets, Hamilton in three sets and Polson in three sets. Friday morning Havre took down Frenchtown in four sets for a match with Billings Central.
The Blue Ponies were out of energy and out match as Billings Central pulled away to win their second straight class A state volleyball championship in three sets.
Havre did their best to keep it close but lost set one 25-19, set two 25-22, and set three 25-18.
