Havre, MT – In a remodeled Frontier Conference, the MSU-Northern Lights and Skylights basketball teams hit the road for their second conference road trip of the young season.
Northern will make their longest road trip of the season to Bellevue Nebraska Friday, before going north to Madison South Dakota for a bout with the Trojans of Dakota State on Saturday.
Head coach for Lights Shawn Huse knows that this amount of travel is something to be aware of and for the weekend.
” You got to be on point with your travel and schedule. I think we should get good rest. Anytime you go on the road that’s something you got to think about but at the same time I think we’re all set. You know we got a good plan in place and we should be able to come out there and play with every bit as much energy as we have been and get after it and get our stops and turn them into points.” Huse Said.
The Lights will take on Bellevue Friday at 6p.m. and Dakota State on Saturday at 6p.m. and you can listen live on KPQX.
