(Havre) – The Montana State University – Northern Foundation has announced the creation of a new endowment supporting undergraduate research in the sciences. The fund will provide long-term support for student research projects, including laboratory and field supplies, as well as travel for students to present their work at academic conferences.
The initiative is off to a strong start thanks to lead donors Roger and Darlene Pugh, whose gift was matched by Tim and Kristen Wynne, bringing the endowment total to $50,000. The Wynne’s have also pledged to match all future contributions up to $100,000, doubling the impact of every new gift.
