Chinook MT – Chinook Boys basketball is off to bumpy start with a 2-4 record and losers of their last two games at home.
Despite the record, the Sugarbeeters are still 2-1 in conference play and have a group of players ready to lead the way.
Head coach Bill says he has four captains and they are all excellent leaders.
“We’re led by Britt Powell, who is our senior. Ryan Bell, and Jamison Nordboe those are our captains on the floor and our injured captain is Charter Alisch. They’re good motivators and they always want to bring the focus back maybe we didn’t get a call we were expecting or when we got a turnover or stuff like that they usually right the ship and have the players refocused either in the timeout or in the locker room.” Bell said.
Powell, Bell, Nordboe and Alisch will lead their team against Cut Bank at home Thursday night before heading to Fairfield on Saturday.
