Lights Football Signs Local Star

Griffen Terry joined by his father and MSU-Northern football coaches.

Havre, MT – Tuesday afternoon, Havre high senior and Blue Pony quarterback Griffen Terry officially signed with the MSU-Northern Lights football program.

Head coach of the Light Jerome Souers says he is excited to sign a player of Terry’s Calibur.

“Well first of all Griffen Terry was recruited by a lot of schools, a lot of frontier schools and then some because he’s a very special player. He is an intelligent quarterback, he’s got a great arm, makes great decisions.”  Coach Souers said.

“There is not anybody that is going to prepare more than that guy will.” Souers continued, “He sets a new standard for preparation in our quarterback room and that’s what excites me. We’re excited about his decision to stay in Havre and turn down some of the offers that he had. It’s a big deal for our program to sign Griffen terry.”

Terry had three years of starting experience for the Blue Ponies.
