Havre, MT – Friday night Havre High Blue Pony boys’ basketball traveled to Sidney for another conference road game and fell 51-50.
Head coach of the Blue Ponies WaLynn Burgess said his team battled hard despite the loss.
“We dug ourselves a hole early on and once yourself a hole you’re trying to get out of it and wondering how legs to finish the game. We took the lead with about three and a half to go. Give it to Sidney they played hard they shot it 67% from the floor.” Burgess said.
The Blue Ponies were without starter Dax Oswalt in the contest.
Next up Havre High boys’ basketball will be at Miles City on Friday before hosting Billings Central on Saturday January 31 with tipoff at 4p.m.
