Havre, MT – After the Lights and Skylights both came away with victories against Providence at home back on January 20, they got the weekend off and both coaches knew their teams needed the rest.
Coach Mouat of the Skylights says his need the time to reset both on the floor and in the classroom. “Well the best thing that happen was we were able to take a couple days completely off. Kids were able to get back in school and focus on that for a few days.”
The Skylights are currently sitting at fifth in the Frontier Conference standings
Coach Huse of the Lights says their focused was all on themselves during the time off.
“Just focusing on us and tightening up some of the screws and really zeroing in on the things that we do well. It’s kind of nice having an off weekend for us in being able to reoperate and take a breath and allow ourselves to regain our vision.”
The Lights are currently sitting at seventh in the Frontier Conference standings
The Lights and Skylights are at Dickinson State ND this Friday with tip times at 5 and 7p.m. before heading to Bismack to battle the Mystics at 4 and 6p.m. on Saturday January 31.
