Havre, MT – Friday and Saturday the Chinook Sugarbeeters will be in search of their first win against Fort Benton and Box Elder of the season.
Head coach of Chinook boys’ basketball, Bill Bell, explains where his team needs to execute to secure victory.
“We need to take care of the ball better because the amount of turnover we had in the amount of both of those games ultimately lead to our defeat.” Coach Bell Said.
The Sugarbeeters are looking secure a winning record as they currently sit at 6-6 overall.
Chinook Girls will also be on the road Friday and Saturday and head coach Jill Barta says her teams focus is one of multiple keys to the game.
“We just got to stay focused again. Number one is going to be our defense, which has picked up tremendously and our post play. those all things we didn’t have a few months ago and I think their all starting to kind of align.” Coach Barta said.
tip times for the girls will be at 6p.m. on Friday and 4p.m. on Saturday. The boys will tip off at 7:30 Friday and 5:30p.m. Saturday and you can listen live on KRYK.
