Havre, MT – Over the weekend the Blue Ponies fell on the road at Miles City 55-45 and lost at home to Billings Central 72-43.
Head Coach of the Blue Ponies, Waylon Burgess spoke to where the struggles occurred for his team.
“To many transition points, you know that’s always going to hurt you. we didn’t see the ball go through the hoop, in a game where it’s a two-possession game with five minutes to go and we got plenty of stops we just couldn’t convert on the other end. For us to be shorthanded going into battle in a conference game on the road it’s something we can keep growing from.” Burgess Said.
Burgesses team falls to 4-11 overall and 2-3 in conference play. The Blue Ponies are on the road this week at Dawson County for a rematch.
