Havre, MT – Havre High Blue Pony Girls basketball is 13-2 on the season coming off of another back-to-back weekend where they went 1-1.
The Blue Ponies claimed victory over Miles City Friday (65-43), before heading to Billings Central on Saturday and falling 42-35.
Head coach of the Blue Ponies Tommy Brown believes that fatigue has only had micro effects on his team.
“I think it plays a little part of it. Some of our kids are playing a lot of minutes and it can kind of effect some moments during the game. I really thought, even through the fatigue our kids played really hard and competed so, [i’m] proud of them for that.” Coach Brown said.
by the end of the season the regular season the Blue Ponies will have had seven total weekends with back-to-back games.
