Havre, MT – Saturday night the Skylights hosted the Vikings of Valley City State. The Skylights were without Maddie Williamson and lost starting center Canzas Hisbadhorse in the first quarter.
The unfortunate circumstances cleared the way for Addie Keifer, who replaced Hisbadhorse in the Skylight lineup, and in her extended minutes secured an 11 point and 11 rebound double double.
Head Coach of the Skylights Chris Mouat was pleased with his Kiefer and the team’s effort.
“Addie’s been giving us good minutes all year. [she] Definitely stepped into a bigger role and was ready. The moment wasn’t bigger than her. I thought she did a really nice job and [she is] going to have to do so moving forward.” Coach Mouat said.
The Skylights hit the road for the final time in the regular season this Friday at Rocky Mountain and Saturday at Carroll College at 5p.m. both days.
