Havre, MT – The MSU-Northern Lights saw six wrestlers qualify for the nationals at the Cascade Conference tournament over the weekend.
Kolton Powers, Justin Windauer, Cade Gubler, and Orion Thivierge were the four juniors to qualify. Ryan Graves and Shane Mattson were the two seniors that will head to Nationals for the Lights.
Lights head coach Tyson Thevierge spoke to the effort of his guys to reach Nationals.
“Those six have been the foundation of this program all season long. They’ve pulled us out of the whole and Colten finally wrestling like Colten can so I’m really excited for those guys to represent Northern at the National tournament.”
NAIA National Wrestling Championships start Thursday march 5, and run through Saturday March 7 in Wichita Kansas.
